  • How do I install floating shelves?
  • We provide detailed installation instructions with each shelf. You can also find a step-by-step guide here and video
  • What’s the lead time for custom orders?
  • Custom orders typically take 2-4 weeks to produce. We will notify you if there are any delays.
  • What wood types do you offer?
  • We offer a variety of wood types, our standard timbers are American Oak, Tasmanian Oak and Blonde Oak - we also offer a range of custom timbers, if you have a specific timber in mind please email us. For more information please see our timbers page. 
  • Do you ship internationally?
  • Yes, we offer international shipping. Rates and delivery times will vary depending on your location. Please email us with the products your after and your address so we can quote accurately.
  • Can I customise the size of my shelf?
  • Absolutely! We offer custom sizing options for our shelves. Please email us or use the forms / calculators in the product page.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
  • We accept major credit cards, PayPal, AfterPay LayBuy and other secure payment methods available at checkout.
  • How can I track my order?
    • You’ll receive a tracking number via email once your order has been dispatched.
  • Do you offer custom sizing and timbers?

    Yes, we do! Please visit the individual product pages or our custom quote page for more details.

  • Is all hardware provided?

    For installation information, please see the product pages or contact us. Special brackets may be needed for certain wall types, such as steel studs.

  • How long will my order take?

    Check the current production time on the product page, or contact us directly.

  • Can your floating shelves be installed into brick and tiles?

    Absolutely! Our method is perfect for brick, and will also drill through tiles to reach wall studs.

  • How are your floating shelves installed?

    We recommend using metal rods, which we supply. Full instructions are included with your order, and can also be found in your confirmation email. Additional details are available on the product page and in our blog posts.

  • Are the shelves pre-drilled for installation?

    No, but we offer free pre-drilling upon request. Just provide measurements at checkout, or if your wall is brick, we'll drill in proportion to the shelf size.

  • How much weight can your shelves hold?

    Our shelves can hold up to 25kg per wall stud they’re secured to, with a minimum of 2 rods installed. Larger shelves will hold more weight depending on size.

  • Are your products varnished?

    Yes, twice! We use a top-grade, non-toxic varnish with a clear finish to preserve the natural look of the timber. It’s also kitchen and bathroom-grade. Note that timber type and grain affect smoothness (e.g., American Oak is smoother than Tasmanian Oak).

  • Can I order timber samples?

    Certainly! Visit our samples page to place an order.

  • What should I do if my order arrives damaged?

    If this happens, please contact us with images and a description of the damage as soon as possible.

  • What if my product is damaged but the packaging is fine?

    It’s not uncommon for products to be damaged during shipping, even if the packaging looks fine. Please inspect your order within 24 hours and report any damage to us. We thoroughly inspect all products before shipping.

  • Why does my shelving feel rough?

    All our products are drum sanded, hand sanded, and varnished with a clear, non-toxic finish. However, timber type and grain affect the smoothness, with American Oak generally being smoother than Tasmanian Oak.
